Telling community stories
to rethink how we live with leftovers.
Day Day Waste-Wise was founded in 2022 by Lab0ver together with staff and students of Lingnan University. We tell the before and after of food waste, look at the role of leftovers in society, and lead teams of university students and neighbours in north-west Hong Kong in action research, environmental practice, food and farming education, knowledge sharing and community work.

Our aimsAIMS
Every leftover is a story not yet finished.Every collaboration rewrites the future of the city.
Our approachEDUCATION
Food waste is only the way in. Students handle what is usually thrown away, without avoiding the smell or the work, and come to see how food, land and community are linked. We design each programme with the school until teachers can carry it on themselves.
